How were the holidays for you? I hope you had a wonderful time, and that Santa was good to you.
Although it’s been great, I wish it was 2013 already. I’m partied out. The days when I could get by on a couple of hours of sleep a night have long gone. I’m looking forward to the madness being over, so that I can close my office door and just write.
Let’s forget about all the distractions of the season for a moment, and think about your writing in 2013. I’m working on a publication schedule at the moment; I hope you’re getting organized too. Whether 2012 was all you expected or not, we’re on the cusp of a brand new year. You can do, and be, anything you want to be. Our opportunities have never been greater.
From speaking with my students and readers, I know that many of you are new to freelancing. You’ve made a little money, but not much. You’re a “freelance writer” but you’re confused. You know many writers are making much more than you are, and you’re wondering why.
Here’s the reason: they have a business model, and a business plan. If you’re new, this will sound confusing, but it’s not. You can get up to speed very quickly. I created my “Pro Writer Success Package” for new writers, so that you’ll know what you’re doing, and can start doing it.
I’ve been asked: “When are you going to run a special offering on the Pro Writer Success Package?”
The answer: right here, and right now. With 2013 just around the corner, I want you armed and dangerous, so you bolt out of the starting gate as soon as the year turns. (Nothing like mixing a few metaphors.
