Are you writing for companies which “pay” you insultingly low fees for your writing?
If so, I have one question for you: WHY are you writing for these companies?
I also have a suggestion for you: STOP IT.
Low rates aren’t payments… they’re the equivalent of the sugar cubes I used to give to my horses.
As a freelance writer, no one puts a gun to your head forcing you to write for them. If the money’s woeful, don’t write for those offering the payments.
If you don’t know how to be well paid for your writing… LEARN.

If you’re wondering what brought on the rant, I just deleted several whining comments from so-called writers, about how the only writing jobs they can find are from companies offering them a pittance, and please will I help them.
This entire blog is devoted to helping them, and so is my primary writing blog, as well as several other writing blogs I own.

Not only that, I publish a string of writing guides and classes, which help you to get a grounding as a writer, so that you know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.
If you want to write, and be well paid for your writing, it’s EASIER than it’s ever been. There are hundreds of thousands of publications and companies which pay writers well — and if you have an entrepreneur’s spirt, you don’t need to write for others, you can establish your own online properties and make great money.
