Private Label Rights (PLR) content is hugely popular online.

Since PLR is so popular, you could focus your entire business model on writing PLR. Several writers I know have done this, and they’re making six figure incomes with ease.

Here’s what you need to do to get started with PLR:

1. Buy a Domain Name

Over time, your Web site will bring you a constant flow of buyers. It’s the hub for your business, so get the site online asap.

2. Write Your PLR Products

Start with one product, perhaps an article package, and then add products each week. The more products, the better.

3. Advertise Your PLR Products

Nothing beats advertising. Start off with free advertising at sites like Craigslist and US Free Ads, and use paid advertising as soon as you have an income. Advertising is vital.

I like PLR as a business model because it’s an easy business to start, there are lots of buyers, and you can USE the PLR to get other buyers of your writing services.

Here what I mean by - “you can USE the PLR to get other buyers of your writing services”.

Businesses which buy PLR from you are always looking for good and reliable writers. And, no disrespect meant to writers, but many (most?) writers are unreliable. Finding a writer who can write, and who actually meets deadlines, is like finding a vein of pure gold.

When speaking with writers who’ve sold PLR for at least a year, the one assertion they all made was that PLR brought them a stable of clients who paid them to write a certain number of articles each month. Buyers bought their PLR, realized that the quality of the writing was excellent, so immediately signed up the writer to provide exclusive content.

In Web writing, everything you write is self-promotion. When you sell a product, buyers buy your writing services too.

The basic idea of PLR content is that it’s content which is sold to people to edit, mash up, or use directly on their Web sites. PLR content may be articles, ebooks, reports, or even audio. It’s CONTENT - stuff for Web sites - in its generic form.
