By nature, I’m a long-form writer. I started my writing career as a romance novelist, and I love the freedom writing novels and books gives me.

And in 2007, I love the money-making opportunities ebooks bring to writers.

Get started writing ebooks - write and sell them yourself, or write for others

If you’re a long-form writer too, and haven’t yet investigated ebooks, you’re missing out on opportunities. Use your knowledge and write ebooks - you can “publish” them yourself and sell them online.

Any expertise you have can be turned into an ebook. New parent? Write about the solutions and tips you’ve discovered, and sell them as an ebook. Love to cook? Collect your family recipes and turn them into an ebook. Written a children’s book? Turn it into an ebook and sell it online while you shop the book around to print publishers.

Of course, you can always write ebooks for others, too. When you scout the freelance out-sourcing sites, you’ll see that there’s never a shortage of ebook projects. Ebooks make money online, and people hire writers to write them.

Here are two resources to help you to get started writing and selling ebooks - my Top Ebook Writer Blog, and my ebook “Write and Sell an eBook: Every Writer’s Quick-Action Guide To Writing Ebooks”.
