Starting a new copywriting services business?

When you’re a brand new copywriter, you’re not as selective as you might be when you take on new clients. There are many warning signs to heed.

Reading Warning Signs From Prospective Clients has some great tips:

I got a referral for a prospective job from a past client. He told me that this new prospective client had a very disorganized yet successful business. That was my first warning sign; disorganized business usually means they’ll be disorganized when it comes to the web site too. In my experience, they’ll probably not have any goals in mind or concrete ideas of what their web site should do for their users and their business. (read the entire post, it’s short.)

Luckily, most clients are great; some aren’t. However, within a short time you’ll spot the clients to beware of too.

My “Seven Days To Easy Money: Copywriting Success” ebook is a complete course - it helps you to build your copywriting business in just seven days.

Fab Freelance Writing Ezine: Web Site Writer Or Print Writer - Which Makes More Money For You?

This week’s issue of our ezine is online: “Web Site Writer Or Print Writer - Which Makes More Money For You?”

Here’s an excerpt from the editorial:

Web writing is the BIG new writing venue. I’m intrigued that many writers who are making a success of Web writing didn’t consider themselves writers before they started writing articles and ebooks for the Web - they simply saw that there’s money to be made in Web writing, and they grabbed the opportunities.

I’m also intrigued by the print writers who are making around one tenth of the money they could be making - they close their eyes to anything new, and cling to print writing, even though it’s painful and difficult and they’re making less money now.

I want to shake the confirmed-print writers and say to them: “Look, the Titanic’s already stuck the iceberg… print writing as you used to know it is dying…”

Words Are Money Online – Get In On The Content Bonanza

This week’s Fab Freelance Writing Ezine’s issue is about Web writing, specifically about Private Label Rights (PLR) content. “Content” is simply a name for articles and similar material in the online world. Web writers spend a lot of time writing content, because it’s very profitable.

Web writers create PLR content, and sell it online, AND they use it, too, in their own Web sites and ebooks – in essence, making money from Other Writers’ Words.

I’m a member of a couple of PLR content sites which provide their members with PLR content each month. I rewrite the content, for my own niche Web sites. A niche is a site which is targeted very narrowly. For example, a niche could be: bed and breakfasts, or hypnosis for weight loss, or computer backup programs. The niche Web site earns money for you day after day, and week after week. Niche Web sites are a way of building your own online empire, and making passive income from it.

More about PLR in this week’s article, “Writers’ PLR Cash Cow: Make Money With OWW (Other Writers’ Work)”.
