I started my writing career as a romance novelist, way back in the day when I thought that “real” writers wrote novels. Huh. Real writers make money writing, any way they can. I could never have imagined when I shipped my badly-typed manuscript boxes off to my editor in London that all these years later, you could write “The End” on a story, and then publish it yourself… And make great money doing it.
