I write a lot, every day. Here’s why: it’s EASIER. Yes, it’s actually easier to sit down and write. To just get on with it, rather than stare out of the window.
As soon as I sit down at my desk in the morning, I journal. I end the day by journaling too. And I journal throughout the day.
Not only do my journals make me more productive, they help my mindset as well.

Stop worrying: keep writing
You can’t sell what you don’t write.
You can’t fix what you don’t write.
As long as you keep writing, you’re doing all you need to do.
“Keep writing, then fix it” is a hard lesson to learn, and once you learn it, you need to keep learning it. Unfortunately, you’ll forget.
That’s where your journals come in. They help you to remember that you wrote yesterday, you’ll write tomorrow, and all you need to do is write TODAY… and fix it.
What’s your journal say?
I’ve been working with a couple of writers since January. Neither writer journaled when we started our journey. They do now. 🙂 I think they got hired of hearing me chirp: “what’s your journal say?”
Your journals get what’s in your head onto paper, or the computer screen. Once it’s there, you can do something with it. They’re your ultimate fix-it tool.
