Do you follow your intuition when it comes to writing?
I usually do, because I’ve lived to regret all the times I didn’t.
Watch this clip. It’s a lesson in following your intuition.
“About six months later, I told someone the story. And he’s like, ‘You are crazy, you. That’s a gift that stuff like that occurs to you to do.’ He’s like, ‘Most people don’t have the idea. So, they don’t go because it never occurs to them to go. If you’re having ideas like that, you have to act on them.'”
Around ten years ago, when blogging was new, my intuition kept telling me to blog. Writing colleagues assured me that blogging was a fad — and anyway, why write for free?
Luckily, I followed my intuition. 🙂
