I love writing articles to promote my writing services and my various products.
If you follow the process I outlined in “Writing Articles – Use Articles to Promote Your Writing Business”, you’ll discover that your wonderful little free articles are advertising dynamos which build your business FAST.
I mentioned article directories in the article; my favorite article directory is Ezine Articles (and no, no one is paying me to write this.) I’ve been using Ezine Articles off and on, for years.
Why Ezine Articles? Because founder Chris Knight cares about the Web and his authors. He ensures that Ezine Articles keeps getting better. It’s the leading article directory because Chris cares.
I’m not exactly a Web neophyte, so I’ve tried other forms of advertising, but I always come back to writing articles, because writing articles works.
Ezine Articles has a new Premium service – I love it
I got the giggles a few minutes ago. I just submitted an article to Ezine Articles and even with their new Premium service, I’d expect to wait a few hours for acceptance. Amazingly, the article was accepted in minutes. Wow! That made my day. 🙂
There’s been some comment about Ezine Articles’ new Premium service at $97 a month along the lines of “why would I pay for something when I get it for free?”
My answer: if you don’t know why, you don’t need the service. Once you know why you need it, you’ll sign up as quickly as your fingers can click the keys – $97 a month for all the advertising opportunities your Web business needs is a steal.
