Have you noticed that the Web has changed in the past 12 months? These days, you’re seeing “media rich” content on the Web. Media rich content goes beyond articles; it uses audio and video, as well as infographics.
Who creates this content? Writers create the TEXT. You can create videos of course if you wish. However, most of your clients just want you to be able to do video concepts, and write video scripts, rather than create videos. You do need to know how video creation is done, however.
Over the past several months, I’ve been transitioning my personal coaching students to creating media rich content. They get up to to speed on the new world of Web writing quickly. Their clients love their new offerings; they’re booked solid.
The New World of Web Writing Is Based on the Old World
Here’s the thing. You need a foundation in “ordinary” Web writing — writing content and articles — to launch yourself into the new world of Web content creation. You also need to be able to come up with ideas, and write fast and well.
To help you to do that, and to get you established as a Web content creator in 2013, I’ve created a new package for you: “Web Content Creator: Dominate the Web”.
It’s suitable for both new, and established writers.
I put this package together for my students; now I’m making it available to you.
Web Articles Are No Longer Enough
These days, your clients want more than articles and plain content. They want you to script videos, and create social media campaigns on Twitter.
In 2013 and beyond, you need to promote yourself as a Web content creator, rather than just a writer of simple Web articles.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be running a series of Web content creation articles on the blog, to help you to transition to this new world.
