Today’s the day. Our fiction-writing Challenge has started.
You can still join, A 30-Day Novel-Writing Challenge:
“Join A 30-Day Novel-Writing Challenge
We start on August 1, 2012.
However, you can choose to start at any time.
Here’s what matters: you learn to set goals, and get into the novel-writing habit.”
So, if you haven’t joined yet, and want to write a novel, do join us.
I’ve just send Day 1 — Lists, to our members. We discussed the importance of emotion: feeling it, and arousing emotions in our readers.
Tomorrow, we’ll discuss the importance of action. Action doesn’t mean fight scenes, although it can. It means that something must happen in every scene of your novel — something which changes the people in your story.
Now I’m off to write my 1,000 words for the day…
Want to share your progress? You can leave a comment here, or share using the #30novel hashtag on Twitter.
Have fun. 🙂
