Affiliate blogging: make money writing (and have fun)

For a web writer and blogger, affiliate marketing (that is, selling affiliate products) is one of the easiest ways to make money.

There are hundreds of thousands of products which you can sell, simply by writing about them.

How does this work? Well, let’s say you’ve just bought some exercise equipment, specifically a rowing machine. (This is at the top of mind for me because I’ve just bought one. ) All you need to do is sign up for an affiliate program for rowing machines (try Amazon.com), and blog about your new machine and how you’re integrating it into your fitness program.

You can blog about any products which you’ve bought and which you use: this is easy. In addition to helping others with your insights, you can also make money.

Affiliate bloggers create blogs about topics which they can monetize with affiliate campaigns, or they create product-specific blogs. In my case, if I wanted to make some money selling rowing machines, I’d set up a blog discussing my experiences with my new machine.

You’ll find that if you choose the right products to promote, your affiliate blogs will turn into nifty little money machines… You’ll get paid for your writing over and over again, as you earn money from your affiliate commissions. I know several writers who make between $500 and $1500 a day with their affiliate blogs, so affiliate blogging is s skill you should learn. It pays off.
