Who are you? Fundamental mistake on writers’ websites

Have you created a writer’s website? Excellent.

Please go and open your site in your browser; I want you to check something for me… Is YOUR NAME on the home page, and preferably on most pages of your site?

Also:

* Do you have an About page?

* A Privacy page?

* A Contact page?

Several sites to which writers sent me links in the past week contained NO mention of who the writer was.

You must tell people exactly who you are (by name). Without telling people who you are, you have zero credibility.

Forgetting to talk about yourself is an easy mistake to make. After all, you know who you are. :-) If you’ve made this fundamental error, please correct it immediately.

Buyers will not buy your writing services and products if they have no idea who you are. TELL them.
