Are you making a great income as a freelance writer?
You SHOULD be — there’s never been a better time to be a writer. There are literally unlimited opportunities for you.
However, as I work with my coaching students, I see over and over that it’s the little things which bring them undone, and ensure that their writing remains little more than a hobby, if that.
What little things?
OK, here’s one challenge 95 per cent of writers have: a lack of client focus.
When you visit the writer’s site, that’s obvious. The writer’s site is ME, ME, ME… I write, I do, I will…
OK, that’s see why that “little thing” is a BIG MISTAKE.
Look at Google’s page.

What’s the focus?
Is it on Google, the company?
Nope, the focus is on YOU, Google’s customer. You type your search query into the search query field, and within a second you have your results.
Is there any mention anywhere on Google’s home page about everything Google does? It would be silly, wouldn’t it, for Google to trumpet their achievements on their home page? Imagine it for a moment, a long, scrolling web page, describing what Google does, and how wonderful the company is, with a search query box at the end of the page…
If Google did that, would it be the world’s most popular search engine and a highly profitable company? Unlikely.
So, if Google is focused on their CUSTOMERS, and they just whack a search query box on their page, how can you emulate them?
It might be a good idea to focus on your customers on your website too, right?
If you’re not focusing on your customers, not only on your site, but right throughout your writing business, start doing that today.
