Writing articles: specialize, get paid more

I’ve had several questions about how to get paid more for writing articles.

Here’s one secret: specialize in an area which pays writers well.

In this article Angela Booth’s Writing Blog: Article Writing Tips: Make $100 and More Per Article I wrote:

I also suggested in the article that you promote yourself on your own blog — that’s vital. You need to build your reputation as an expert in the field that you’ve chosen, and you can do that by writing about it consistently.

Ultimately, what you get paid is YOUR decision, no one else’s. If you’re determined never to accept low-paying gigs, and work on creating valuable articles, then you will get paid appropriately.
