Writers’ helper: Evernote for notes

If you use more than one computer, you’ll bless Evernote — the program automatically syncs your notes between all the machines you use.

Getting Started | Evernote Corporation suggests Evernote for:

# Notes and research
# Web pages clips
# Tasks and to-dos
# Photos of whiteboards and blackboards
# Business card snapshots
# Ink scribbles in a notepad
# Camera phone snapshots
# Wine labels and menus

I mentioned Dropbox in Fab Freelance Writing Ezine a couple of weeks ago, as another tool I use, which also syncs between your machines.

I use Dropbox to sync files and folders, and Evernote to sync miscellaneous notes. Evernote is simple to search, which makes it useful for me when I’m at the library — I can look up research notes and enter new notes too.
