If you’re a reasonable photographer, you can make even more money selling stock photography.

Online photo services can give shutterbug lucrative outlet – USATODAY.com reports:

“Monu — known as ‘nico_blue’ on iStockphoto — pulls in a six-figure income from his part-time gig. One photo even earned him $5,000. It’s a feel-good image of two senior women, one African American and one white, smiling for the camera.”

You don’t need an expensive digital camera to take images for the online world, so the digital camera you use to take snaps of the kids will work just fine. You can trade up to a fancy digital SLR when your images are selling like hot cakes.
