This is especially important for stay at home moms. You can get all the blogging clients you can handle if you’ll pick up the phone and talk to local business people. Spend an afternoon making calls, and I’ll guarantee you that you’ll be booked solid for the next three months.

3. Business Writing: You’re a Virtual Assistant

Business people are busy, and because of the economic downturn, they’re five times busier than they were last year. Again, get creative, and approach your writing from the point of view of business people. How could you reframe your writing services into becoming a virtual assistant?

4. Writing Ebooks from What You Know

Ebooks are gold mines. People get instant information which they can put to work at once. Knowing this, how can you, as a work at home mom, benefit?

You can benefit by writing ebooks teaching others how to do what you do. Many ebooks are short, at around 20 pages. They give tightly targeted information, and people pay for it.
