Ebook – Get Started, Make Money Today With Ebooks

Want to make money fast? The appetite and market for ebooks online is unlimited. If you have knowledge to share, you can profit from that knowledge.

Let’s see how this works.

1. You Get an Idea for an Ebook

What have you learned how to do in the past couple of months?

Here’s some of what I’ve learned: how to create a podcast, how to bake outstanding brownies, how to take panoramic photos with my digital camera.

None of these bits of know-how I taught myself are world-shatteringly important. However, the mere fact that I took myself from zero knowledge to accomplishment means that not only do I have a new skill, I also have experience in how to learn that skill – and I can teach it to others.

Big tip: you don’t have to be an EXPERT at a skill you share with others via an ebook. Being a beginner is fine, because you’re showing other people that it’s possible to learn a skill, and you’re sharing your own experience of how you learned.

“How to” products sell very well as ebooks. So make your own list now of what you’ve learned – the idea for your first ebook is in that list.

2. You Write It

Got your idea? Great.

Now make an outline. Just make a list, describing the skill you learned, and exactly how you learned it.

If I were to write a beginner’s guide to podcasting for example, my outline would look something like this:

* What’s a “podcast?”

* Requirements to create a podcast

* Do you need a microphone, or is your computer’s microphone sufficient?

* Etc.

Then follow your outline, and write a page, or two, or three on each topic.

Next, decide on some extras. Many ebooks come with bonuses, which inspire buyers. A bonus can be very simple, but it’s important that it’s unique, and is available nowhere else.

For my podcasting ebook, I could create a podcast for buyers to download. If I were writing a “how to bake yummy brownies” ebook, my bonus could be a short three page report on brownie recipes for dieters.

Now turn your ebook into a PDF document. If you’re using a Mac, you can create PDFs from the Print menu. If you’re on a PC, search for “free PDF creator” in Google.

3. You Put the Book Online With a Paypal Buy Now Button

Now it’s time to create a Web page to sell your ebook. You can do this in moments if you use Blogger.

Then log into your PayPal account (set one up if you don’t already have one) and create a Buy Now button to paste into the Web page.

4. You Promote the Ebook and Make Money

Your final step is to promote your ebook, online and offline.
