Want to make money with your writing?
You can. It’s never been easier for anyone, with minimal writing skills, to not only make a great income online, but also to build a million-dollar business.
Every Web site needs text content, and if you can produce that content, you’re golden. All you have to do is write, and keep writing, without wasting time.
Here’s the key: the more you write, the more you earn. You don’t just earn more in the aggregate, you earn more from each and every writing job, because when you’re experienced, you can charge more.
You need to WRITE!
Stop wasting time as a beginning writer
When you first start out, you need credits – the people who hire you want to see examples of your writing. So get your first five writing jobs, or your first ten, and get some material for your portfolio.
You can easily get all the writing jobs you want on the outsourcing sites. These jobs will build your portfolio fast. A couple of days ago, in the ezine, I wrote “Winning Writing Jobs on the Outsourcing Sites the Easy Way” to help.
Once you’ve created some great examples of your writing, you can charge more. You’ll also, we hope, have a group of buyers who look on you as “their” writer, and will hire you again.
So stop wasting time thinking and wondering – get to work, and get those first few writing jobs.
Stop wasting time as an established writer
You’re an established writer. You have writing credits from Web sites, magazines, or maybe you’ve published a book.
As an established writer, you have POWER. Use it wisely.
At this stage, you need to decide on a business model.
Here are some examples of business models:
* My own business model is writing and selling guides, classes and instruction manuals for writers;
* Writer Jon R.’s business model is Web copywriting. He writes everything from Pay Per Click ads Web sales pages and white pages;
* Writer Tiffani J.’s business model is writing and selling Web sites;
* Writer Larry P.’s business model is a blog network of health blogs, which he monetizes by selling advertising and products.
Your business model gives a structure to your writing efforts, it enables you to set goals, including financial goals, and to meet those goals.
Once you’ve decided on a business model, get to work, and WRITE.
Are you wasting time? You shouldn’t, because every minute and hour you waste is money lost.
Your confidence will build as you write
Many writers lack confidence. Here’s the cure: WRITE.
As a beginning writer, you’re scared of your clients. That’s fine… you’ll soon understand that they’re even more scared of you that you are of them.
So grab any and every writing job you can, and your confidence will bloom.
If you’re an established writer, your lack of confidence stems from a lack of direction. Choose a direction – a business model – and write.
Here’s a vital truth: if you choose a business model, you CANNOT FAIL. Your confidence will blossom as you write, and achieve the goals you’ve set.
Writing challenges are always solved when you write… so, write. Stop wasting time; make money.
