Tutorial: Create a money-making Web site FAST in SynthaSite

1. All you need is a Web browser to create your first site

As you can see, I’ve already created a site in SynthaSite – here it is: for my weekly writing tips. At the moment, it just consists of a single page, but I’ll be adding more pages to it in weeks to come.

Once you’ve signed up to SynthaSite, this is what your account looks like. See the yellow button on the right? Just click that to create a new site.

So that’s what we’ll do now.

2. Get started: name your site, and choose a template and colors

After you click the Create New Site button, SynthaSite loads in your Web browser, and you’ll be guided through creating a site.

Here are the steps in this window.

1. Name your site – type the name you want to call your site

2. Choose a template – you have a choice of 34

3. Customize your colors

When you’re done, click OK.

As you can see, I’ve named my new site, and have chosen a nify green template. I’ll click OK, and will be taken to the next screen, to create my home page.

4. Here’s my new site, ready for editing

So, here we are, on the site’s home page. To add content, we just drag in content modules from the sidebar.

1 and 2 are both content options, 3 is where you drag the content.

Let’s see how it works.

I’ll start by adding some text content. See the arrow? I’ll just drag that text box to the page.

5. I’ve dragged a text content box into the page

As you can see, I’ve dragged a text content box over onto the page. Now I just need to click "Edit" to add text.

Let’s do that now.

6. Add text and images to your page

Using SynthaSite is as easy as using a word processor. Once you click Edit, you can start adding text and images to the page. Type the content, or paste from an application on your computer. You can even add images.

Remember to Save as you work – I’ve circled the Save button for you.

7. Publish when you’re ready

You can add as much content to a page as you wish, and add new pages to the site too, with the "New Page" button.

When you’re ready, hit the Publish My Site button.

8. Choose your site publication method

You’re given a choice of how you want to publish your site. Here are your options.

1. On SynthaSite’s servers – name the site, and you’re given a free site on SynthaSite’s servers. If the name you choose is available, "Available" appears.

2. Host the site on a domain you already own, or on a new domain.

3. Or, you can download the site, and then upload it to your own hosting space.

I’m just going to go with the free subdomain option.

Click Next when you’re ready.

9. Add the appropriate keywords for your new site

Keywords ensure that you’re found on the Web. So just type some keywords into the Tags field.

Click Next when you’re done.

10. All done – your site is now live on the Web

Easy, wasn’t it? Your site is now live on the Web.

Here’s the example site I just created for you – Sell Your Writing.

Not bad for 15 minutes... including the time I spent creating this tutorial.

I LOVE fast site creation tools like SynthaSite; it’s going to be my tool of choice for getting affiliate marketing sites online.

I’m sure that I’ll be able to create a quick site in less than five minutes, and so will you.
