Cashing in on what you know

As a writer, you’re in a unique position to make money from what you know.

You can turn everything you learn, and everything you experience, into income – turning the lemons of your life into lemonade.

One writer friend has this down to a fine art: she does it completely unconsciously. So much so, that I can work out what she’s writing by what’s happening in her life.

Currently she’s undergoing her third divorce, and true to form, she has a multi-book contract for several books on divorcing in style.

So, what do you know?

Make a list of what’s happening in your life, and start cashing in.
