Google Page Creator – Site Manager

To create a Web site in Google Page Creator, go to http://pages.google.com/ and create an account. This is my account in Google Page Creator. Once you’ve created your own account, your Site Manager will look like this, after you’ve created a couple of sites.

Click the Create A New Site link to create your first site.

Choose a Web address for your new site

Create a Web address for your site. I typed "sellyourwriting" . Type your own choice of address, and click the Check Availability button.

Your site’s layout

Scroll down the page, and choose a layout for your site.

Your site’s template – the overall look

Scroll down again, and choose a template. (You can change both the template, and the layout at any time.)

You’re done! Press the Create Site button.

Your site has been created – now add content

With your new site created, you’ll be taken back to the Site Manager, so you can start adding content. Click your first page "no title" to start editing it.

Your home page in your new site – just start typing

Using Page Creator is just like using a word processor. Click where you want to add content, and just start typing.

Add as much or as little content as you need

I’ve added some boilerplate content here, to give you an idea of the process. Click the Publish button when you’re done adding content.

View your new site on the Web

Once you hit the Publish button, you can view your new site on the Web. This is the site I just created, at http://sellyourwriting.googlepages.com/home

Go back to the Site Manager, and add more pages

Now you can return to the Site Manager, and add more pages to your new site.

Add more pages

Just click the Create a New Page button to add another page to your site.
