What’s your favorite pastime? Do you play golf, swim, listen to music? Whatever your pastime or hobby happens to be, you can make money writing about it.

For example, scrap-booking is a current hot topic. There are several successful magazines devoted to this craze, and many Web sites. If you enjoy this hobby, you can make money writing about it.

Here’s how to make money writing about a pastime/ hobby

* Make a list of the benefits of your pastime

* Make a list of the frustrations

* What have you learned?

Next, do a little research. Ultimately, the best way to make money writing is to write for yourself - create a Web site or blog related to this hobby. You can check out my Blogging For Dollars ebook, and my Super-Fast Money-Making Web Sites For Writers: Join The Web-Publishing Bonanza ebook for lots of information and step by step processes.

If you need money fast, then write for others: check out my Cash For Content package for Web sites which buy articles instantly.

Or, you can write query letters to magazines which cover your topic. Magazine writing will pay you more than writing for Web sites, but you’ll wait longer for your money.

Any pastime or hobby you enjoy is a money-maker. A friend is a keen amateur cook, and has created a Web site and blog related to cooking for beginners. She started the sites just six months ago, and is already making more from them than she does writing for magazines.

You can do it too. Almost any hobby can be turned into a money-maker when you write about it.
