Google apps, set up on one of my domains
Are you writing for the Web yet? (Aside: I know that 99 per cent of freelance writers aren’t, simply because they don’t look on the Web as a viable market for their work. This is very short-sighted, because the Web is the future of freelance writing. Get in on the ground floor now, or go the way of the dodo.:-))
Google Apps – conduct your Web writing business online
Google has packaged its Web applications into a suite called Google Apps. While the suite is free, there’s also a chargeable version. For Web writers, the free version is ample.
I used a spare domain name to set up Google Apps, and it’s great. I can see myself moving my entire Web writing business online, simply because it’s so easy to have everything I need in one place, that’s accessible from any computer. I can add 100 email accounts to the one domain, so I’ve got plenty of room to add collaborators to the account.
Check out Google apps. It’s exciting to have everything you need in one place, and it’s free for small business.
