What do Web writers write?

My “write for the Web – please!” post drew a huge response, mostly from new writers, although a couple of established pros got in touch too.

A common thread was: “What do Web writers write?”

The Web writing industry is huge. Web writers write anything and everything, including entire Web sites, blogs, advertising, marketing collateral for companies, marketing campaigns, and Web sales pages. They also create online information products.

Currently my own Web writing focuses on my own various sites, but I still write Web sales pages and autoresponder series for Internet marketers.
