(Mac) Easy writers’ Web sites with RapidWeaver

If you’re a freelance writer, you need a Web site. However creating your own site can be an intimidating experience. I wrote about creating your own site and amortizing the costs in time and money on this post.

RapidWeaver makes FAST sites
If you’re on a PC, and have ever wondered what writing on a Mac would do for your writing career, I’ll tell you. My first computer in 1980 was an Apple, then I moved to the dark side (PCs) until 2005. Mostly this was because I was writing for magazines like PC User, which meant that a PC was a basic requirement. However in mid 2005 I bought a Mac Mini, and in the past 18 months my writing has been a creative joy. Writing, and everything that goes along with writing has been easier, and much more fun.

There are reasons creatives prefer Macs: on a Mac, everything is easy, and it just works.

I use RapidWeaver every day, and I highly recommend the program. RW is the easiest way ever to create Web sites. (Note, I have no connection with the developers, I’m just tickled and enthused about the program.) If you bought a Mac just to create a Web site with RapidWeaver, you’d be making a brilliant investment in your writing career. Yes, the program is that good.
