All freelance writers need a Web site. It’s an easy way to direct people to your portfolio and samples of your work. Of course, if you’re writing for the Web, it can even act as a sample of your work.
I was tinkering with Google Page Creator last week, frustrated because I couldn’t create a new sample site, to show you how easy Page Creator makes creating a new site. The Help file assured me that yes, you can create multiple sites in Page Creator. After ten minutes I gave up, since I couldn’t find the “Create A Site With A Different Address” button.
Well, I guess the Help file got updated before the app, because lo and behold, Google Page Creator has just added the ability to create multiple sites – up to five:
Multiple sites: When you first sign in to Google Page Creator, we automatically give you a site with the same name as your Gmail address, so you don’t have to worry about choosing a name when you’re just trying to get started. But because not every site is a personal site, starting today, you can create up to five sites with different URLs. For example, you can have justinspizza.googlepages.com in addition to justin.rosenstein.googlepages.com.
I created this Internet Marketing For Writers site (below) with Page Creator months ago.
The site took only minutes to set up. So if you want a fast, easy, free site, Google Page Creator is the way to go.
