Whatever kind of writing you do, whether you’re writing for print publications, for the online world, or for businesses, learning to write PROPOSALS is vital. Proposals are also known as queries, or more commonly among freelance writing professionals, as pitches.

A pitch is a short document usually a single page, sometimes up to three pages. It’s a QUESTION to gauge interest in an idea. You’ll pitch an article or book first, before you write it. Please don’t write your idea and then try to sell it. This wastes valuable time. Editors and publishers like to take ownership of an idea, so pitching before you write is vital.

My new ebook, “Freelance Writing: Marketing And Selling – Learn To Pitch” is available now. It teaches you top-freelancers’ pitching secrets.

For a limited time, there’s a special offer of a critique of one of your pitches.
