I’ve just posted an article at my writing blog “Writing for self-promotion: top ten ways you can use your writing to promote your writing”.

Writing for self-promotion is a VITAL skill for freelancers. In fact, I’d nominate it as the one skill which turns you into a successful freelance writer.

What I like most about writing for self-promotion is that it means that editors and people who want to buy your work come to you – you don’t have to send out a constant stream of queries and proposals, so it saves you time and energy.
